We produce and market a diverse range of metals and minerals – such as copper, cobalt, zinc, nickel and ferroalloys - and also market aluminum /alumina and iron ore from third parties. These products include bauxite, which is the world’s main aluminum ore; alumina (an oxide derived from the processed ore); primary aluminum; and aluminum alloys. Our copper assets range from mines to smelters, refineries and recycling plants. Cobalt is mainly produced as a by-product at assets that produce copper or nickel. Through our marketing activities, we sell zinc and lead concentrates; zinc and lead metals produced from concentrates; and valuable by-products such as sulphuric acid.
